천양P&B는 1966년 전통한지공장 “호남한지”에서 출발해, 한지제조는 물론 한지원단을 활용한 식물성 가죽 제작 및 의상 등을 제조하는 한지제조업체입니다. 천양P&B는 최상급 전통한지, 인쇄용 한지, 친환경 벽지 분야 등에서 최고의 제품을 공급하기 위해 노력하고 있습니다. 또한, 한지 원재료 추출물질을 바탕으로 바이오 분야에서 괄목할만한 사업 성과를 이룩했으며 지속적인 성장을 준비하고 있습니다.

ChunyangP&B is a Korean paper manufacturer that started out in 1966 as a traditional Korean paper factory, “Honam Hanji,” and manufactures vegetable leather and clothing using Hanji as well as Hanji. ChunyangP&B strives to supply the best products in the fields of top-notch traditional Korean paper, printing Korean paper, and eco-friendly wallpaper. In addition, we have achieved remarkable business results in the bio field based on the extracts of raw materials for Hanji and are preparing for continuous growth.

[스미니쳐]는, 자연 친화 한지 마스크 브랜드 [순수한지], 친환경 한지 수의 브랜드 [지키지], 한지의 실용화를 목표로 만들어진 브랜드 [더한지] 등에 이어 천양P&B가 야심차게 준비한 친환경 한지 섬유를 활용한 가구 브랜드의 새 이름입니다.

[Sminiture] is an eco-friendly Hanji fiber that ChunyangP&B has ambitiously prepared, following nature-friendly Hanji mask brand [Soonsuhanji], eco-friendly Hanji water brand [Jikiji], and [Thehanji], a brand aimed at commercializing Hanji. It is the new name of the used furniture brand.

네이밍은, 편안함에 스며드는 가구를 컨셉트로, 우리말 ‘스미다’, ‘스며들다’와 영어단어 ‘가구(Furniture)’를 조합해 만들었습니다. 브랜드 디자인은, 워드마크에 미소 짓는 표정을 형상화 하여 친환경 한지 섬유 가구가 주는 ‘편안함’, ‘만족감’등을 직간접적으로 표현하여 브랜드의 아이덴티티를 부각시키고자 했습니다.

The naming was created by combining the Korean words ‘Sumida’ and ‘Permeate’ and the English word ‘Furniture’ with the concept of furniture that permeates comfort. The brand design was intended to highlight the brand identity by directly or indirectly expressing the ‘comfort’ and ‘satisfaction’ provided by eco-friendly Hanji fiber furniture by embodying a smiling expression on the word mark.
